BLS is geared towards prehospital providers, like EMTs, paramedics, fire fighters, and in-facility hospital providers. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. This is an in-class session that include hands on instruction and practice.
HeartCode BLS is the AHA’s BLS blended learning delivery method. Blended learning is a combination of eLearning, in which a student completes part of the course in an online self-directed manner, followed by a hands-on skills session. Available for initial certification and renewal.
Heartsaver First Aid /CPR/ AED is geared towards anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. Course can be completed in person or blended (online/in person hands on). Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years
Heartsaver® Bloodborne Pathogens was designed specifically for workers with a reasonable chance of coming into contact with bloodborne pathogens. The course teaches employees how to protect themselves and others from being exposed to blood or blood-containing materials. This course is designed to meet OSHA requirements for bloodborne pathogens training when paired with site-specific instruction.
